Daarin Schuilt Arib.?

Daarin Schuilt Arib is a Dutch-Moroccan politician who has been serving as the Speaker of the House of Representatives in the Netherlands since January 2016. She is the first woman and the first person of Moroccan descent to hold this position in the Dutch parliament.

Arib was born on October 10, 1960, in Boujad, Morocco, and moved to the Netherlands at a young age. She studied social work at the University of Amsterdam and worked as a social worker before entering politics. Arib joined the Dutch Labour Party (PvdA) in 1988 and was elected to the House of Representatives in 1998.

Throughout her political career, Arib has been a strong advocate for social justice, equality, and inclusion.
